News Gaming Sports Special
The Bernard Chong-owned BREN Esports, who dominated the entire local landscape of esports last 2020 when they won its first-ever official championship in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines after beating Smart Omega in the Grand Finals of Season Six, brought Philippines to victory as they represent the country and got the M2 World Championship title via a 4-3 victory over Burmese Ghouls at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore, January 23, 2021, Sunday evening.
After a tug of war for the lord in the 12-minute mark of Game Seven, KarlTzy (Claude) was able to pick off RubyDD (Grock) which ignited a full-blown clash for both squads and because of a good teamwork led by Ribo (Harith) and KarlTzy, they marched onto the mid lane with the luminous lord to end the match and claim the series.
Kudos to these men in black and yellow who continued their surge to the top, taking down MPL-Indonesia champion RRQ Hoshi before slaying MPL-Myanmar winner Burmese Ghouls for the Philippines’ first-ever world title.
